In a regulated electricity market, the consumer had no choice. They could only purchase electricity from the local utility. In a regulated market there was no incentive to offer cost saving Energy or innovative products and services. That's changing because people in many states now have the right to choose from which company they buy their electricity.

Deregulation allows companies like WRW Energy to market the supply portion of energy to residential and business customers. Competitive markets lead to innovation and lower costs for customers and this means lower electric bills for you in PA.

In a deregulated market, the local utility is reduced to an electricity delivery company. This makes it possible for customers to choose an alternate source for the generation portion of their bill which is approximately two thirds of their total cost. Customers continue to rely on their local utility to deliver their electricity, provide service, read their meter and send out the electric bill. This portion of the electricity service remains the same.

Jeremy Weber, owner of WRW Energy is very well known here in Bedford, PA. He was born and raised here. After graduation from Bedford High School, he went to Charleston Southern University where he played baseball and received his BA in Business. He worked for a local Insurance Company for years before acquiring a Papa John’s Pizza Shop, a Subway Sandwich Shop and mini-mart. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Rotary Club. As a member of the Rotary, Jeremy Emcees the Lobster Fest every year. Actually you might see Jeremy hosting any one of a number of events around town as he is a much requested personality in Bedford. For example, here is a home video of  Jeremy hosting his own Papa John's Pizza Eating Contest at the Bedford County Fair (July 2011)

Hello.  My name is Lycia Cook and I am married with two kids and one on the way.  I graduated from Bedford High School and acquired my associate’s degree in Business Administration Computer Applications from Mount Aloysius College. 

I have worked in sales and marketing for 11 years and I am currently enjoying sales and marketing for WRW Energy as an account representative. 

Wendy Elaine Weber -Hello!!  I was born and raised in Bedford, Pennsylvania.  I graduated high school in 2001, and in the fall of 2001, I attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA.  I graduated in May of 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice.  I am an account representative and absolutely love it!!!  I enjoy working with people, and I love when I can provide savings on their electricity bills! Currently, my husband and I reside in Bedford, PA with our dog, Vegas, our loud, but very loving Beagle-Jack Russell mix. We love to travel, and Cape Hatteras is one of our favorite destinations.  GO EAGLES!!!

Hello, my name is Lindsay Buchanan.  I graduated from Bedford High School in 2004 and then went on to get an Associate's degree in Business Management from Allegheny College of Maryland.  I am currently an account representative which I really enjoy.  

I am a family person and enjoy skiing, camping, fishing, and going to the beach.

My husband of 31 years and I have one daughter.  Since graduating from college I have been involved in the education field as well as the business field. My husband and I enjoy our church, horses, log homes, traveling but most of all spending time with each other and our family.

Hi – I’m Barry Barnes. I’m the IT guy here at WRW Energy. I moved to Pennsylvania from Arkansas in 1991. I received my computer training from Compu-Tech Learning Center and specialize in network administration, Photoshop and web design.

I am married to my best friend who happens to be a Lutheran minister with two churches here in the Bedford Area. We have have four grandkids with more on the way. We also have four goats, four dogs, two cats, and one bird . Life is anything but boring at our house.
